As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King's memory today, we at the Cooper Center pledge to continue our work in having everything we do be more inclusive, more representative of the communities that we engage with, and more understanding. We value deeper relationships with the families and neighborhoods we serve and, in Dr. King's words, we "keep moving forward" to a more socially just society.

We're looking to add an instructor to our staff in 2022, if you have a passion for environmental education and all things Sonoran Desert the Cooper Center is the place for you!

Camp Cooper is excited to welcome one of our new educators, Isaac Silva! In his spare time Isaac loves eating all his mother's cooking, especially her "Caldo de Queso".

Camp Cooper welcomes Alexianne (she/her) as one of our new educational staff members.  Alexianne is from Glendale, Arizona. She loves all types of cacti, but her favorite is the nopal, and she very much enjoys the presence of hummingbirds.

This week we're highlighting Brittne (she/they). Brittne is from Phoenix, AZ but has called Tucson home for 11 years. She started out as instructional staff at Cooper in 2018 and now functions as a Program Coordinator, working on programmatic changes to make Cooper more accessible and fun for all learners!

We are proud that for the first time in our history, we are recruiting for a full-time marketing position. We are looking for candidates with experience in content creation, brand and messaging, program and event promotion, PR, graphic design, video editing and diversity, equity and inclusion.
