Trek is a sunrise to sunset journey through a wild place no one really knows. The goal of a Trek is an internal one, to be conscious and joyful at being outdoors in direct contact with the earth. There is time to sit and watch and reflect on the natural world, and to saunter and wander over relatively short distances.
The experience begins Friday evening with a light dinner and orientation. The Trek itself takes place from sunrise to sunset on Saturday. Participants sleep at the Cooper Center Friday night and then wake up early to embark.
Cost per participant: $35. Includes all participant materials, overnight lodging and dinner at the Cooper Center on Friday, as well as food during the Trek on Saturday. Pay by check or credit card.
