Funding Focus
Staff and Operations - Our priority at the moment involves funding to support our staff and operations. Our philanthropy efforts support our seven full-time staff, including two program coordinators, four educators and one marketing and communications director.
$10 - Transform a dream into reality - your donation covers an overnight trip full of unforgettable experiences for a student at Camp Cooper.
$35 - Become a friend of Camp Cooper and provide a child with an overnight stay - this gift will also cover costs for our educational staff.
$60 - Camp Cooper has been serving students for 60 years! Help us keep providing them with a unique educational experience for many years to come and become a friend of Camp Cooper.
$100 - Dive into Earthkeepers, Cooper's immersive 3-day program for 4th and 5th graders! Your contribution fully backs two students' Camp Cooper adventures and earns you the cherished title of a friend of Camp Cooper.
$500 - Your commitment showcases unwavering dedication to the mission, values and vision of the Cooper Center. Together, let's pave the way for transformative experiences and lasting impact!
$1,000 - Your support fuels our annual crowdfunding campaign, a vital lifeline for our exceptional educational staff and programs. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our mission!
$2,500+ - Welcome to the University of Arizona President’s Club! Elevate your impact with our Friend’s of Camp Cooper exclusive benefits. Consider bridging the gap with an additional gift to unlock this prestigious membership level.
$5,000 - Ignite the spirit of exploration! Your generous donation provides an immersive 3-day, 2-night Earthkeepers experience for an entire class of 30 elementary school students. From staffing costs to materials, meals and transportation, you're fueling every aspect of their unforgettable journey. Please reach out to our director, Colin Waite, if you are interested in joining in on the field trip you funded - you can be an Earthkeeper too!
Supporter Spotlights
- Arizona Loyal - Supporters who make gifts of any size in two or more consecutive years to the University of Arizona or Camp Cooper are recognized as Arizona Loyal. When you become Arizona Loyal, you make an impact in the lives of students and support the people and programs that make our university extraordinary.
- UA Cares - UA Cares is a series of university initiatives that enable us to pay it forward for others. Take a moment to learn about how you can join the UA Cares community through payroll deductions, food drives, employee funds and blood drives.
- Volunteer Recognition - Camp Cooper runs off the support and generosity of the community. We have several volunteer opportunities through our advisory board and other various committees. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in helping with our mission!
- Donor Walls - Become a Friend of Camp Cooper and we will ensure you are included on our donor walls, both in camp and online.
- Tax Credit Donors - You can use the Arizona School Tax Credit to support a school with Camp Cooper’s student fees, buses, materials, meals and more. You can give money to support school field trips at zero cost to you - it is easy to do and makes a HUGE difference for the children in the Tucson community!

Just $10 a month covers the annual overnight field trip fees for 12 students, ensuring transformative experiences year-round.
