Programs for 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Students
The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning’s Full Day & Overnight Experiences are student-centered experiences for learning about and enjoying the wonders of the Sonoran Desert. Our programs are a mix of Cooper staff-led experiences and optional programming led by class teachers and parent volunteers. Find the right program for your class - and keep in mind that our most memorable experiences are our Camp Cooper overnights.

Sunship III
7TH & 8TH GRADE PROGRAM
Sunship III is a program designed to celebrate the transition from childhood through adolescence into adulthood, to focus on perception and choice in our daily habits and routines, to explore and discover the larger context of where and how we live, and to examine alternatives and make sacrifices for a healthier home planet.
