Meet our staff member Paige (they/them)!

Nov. 29, 2021

Paige grew up in central Massachusetts and completed their B.S. in biology at Kansas State University. In an attempt to escape winter weather forever, they moved to Tucson in 2018 and joined Cooper’s educational team as an instructor shortly after. They have since been promoted to a Program Coordinator position at Cooper, working on numerous projects including K-5 program revision and implementation of the Earthkeepers Program in Mexico!

Paige’s favorite plants and animals in the Sonoran Desert are strange and specific – they are fascinated by the burro-weed strangler (both a plant and a parasite!) and the Sonoran spotted whiptail lizard. They would die happy if they could only eat Pad Thai for the rest of their life, and they love the colors turquoise and hot pink.
