In Memory of Steve Goulding

Feb. 22, 2021

Cooper Center and the world have lost an incredible human being to Covid-19. Steve Goulding, known by his nature name "Tall Coyote" when at Camp Cooper, passed away in January after a long battle with the virus. Our thoughts are with Steve's wife Peggy, their family, and all those that were touched by Steve's kindness and generosity during his life.

Steve and Peggy's support of Cooper Center during the past few years has been transformational, including gifts to fully fund Earthkeepers field trip experiences for Title I schools and lead gifts in our current campaign for new sustainable bathrooms. We can't thank Peggy and Steve enough for what they have done for Cooper Center. Steve will be truly missed, and his memory will be with us as Cooper Center continues to grow.
