The SewTrue Project is a series of educational sustainability initiatives hosted by the Cooper Center for Environmental Learning and Fed By Threads, a business that makes 100% sustainable clothing.  Fed By Threads fights hunger and food insecurity by donating its proceeds as meals through Feeding America to the local Southern Arizona Community Food Bank. Our partnership and campaign aims to educate students about the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of the global apparel industry while serving the vulnerable populations closest to home

On April 16th, the documentary The True Cost will be shown in ENR2 N120 at 6:00pm.  Admission is free!  This film addresses the issues of globalization, environmental justice and health, the apparel supply chain, human rights, and more. Pre-registration for this event is available below!  When you pre-register, you become eligible for a raffle for our sustainable T-shirts from last year!  Please use the link here.
