Campus Team Collaborations with Campus Pantry

The Cooper Center Campus Outreach Team is collaborating with the Campus Pantry, a campus organization dedicated to reducing food waste, to help participants use non-disposable, reusable bags as part of their Campus Pantry experience.

Our goals in partnering with the Campus Pantry include:

•  Improve the intersection between food security and environmental impact
• Organized reusable bag drive during Fall 2019 and obtained an estimated 250 bags
• In one day 75% of 300 people who visited Campus Pantry used donated reusable bags
• Goal of Reusable Bag Drive Spring 2020 = increase reusable bag users to 90%
