Cooper Center Camp Agreements
When groups first arrive at the Cooper Center, they take the time to create a list of agreements for how they expect themselves and others to act during their stay. Each class list is unique but they always include the following:
- Always have a water bottle with you.
- Listen to the instructor and each other.
- Walk to keep everyone safe.
- Respect the plants, animals and each other.
- Watch for animals that bite or sting.
- Observe nature gently.
- Stay with the group.
- Help others so everyone can enjoy camp.
- Let’s do our part to keep camp clean.
- HAVE FUN!
PARENTS:
- Tobacco, alcohol and weapons on TUSD property are prohibited by law.
IF SPENDING THE NIGHT:
- Drinking water is permitted in the cabins.
- Food items should only be consumed at the ramada and kitchen areas.
- Adults must accompany students in the cabins.
OTHER AGREEMENTS:
- During camp activities, cell phones should be put away.
- Please leave chewing gum at home.
