Renting Camp Cooper for Group Use

The Cooper Center for Environmental Learning is now available to meet your facility's needs. Nestled in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains on the west side of Tucson, we can offer indoor meeting space for up to 40 people and outdoor meeting space for 60 or more.

Other accommodations include a kitchen with stove, two refrigerators, microwave, coffeemaker, sink, plates, cups, and utensils; indoor meeting space with a digital projector; rustic sleeping cabins for overnight experiences; and a covered picnic ramada with a large outdoor grill and amphitheater nearby. In addition, there are small ramadas on the grounds for breakout sessions and several miles of hiking trails that access Tucson Mountain Park.

Our rental fees are intended to make the facility as affordable as possible and to provide opportunities for an alternative to the “hotel” or “conference room” experience. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages for preparation and use on-site, or refreshments can be catered for your event. Since this is a TUSD school site, alcohol and tobacco are not permitted on the property at any time.

If you are interested in using the Cooper Center or would like to tour the facility, contact us and we will arrange a time and date for your visit or group meeting.
