Cooper Center Camp Agreements

When groups first arrive at the Cooper Center, they take the time to create a list of agreements for how they expect themselves and others to act during their stay. Each class list is unique but they always include the following: 

  • Always have a water bottle with you. 
  • Listen to the instructor and each other. 
  • Walk to keep everyone safe.
  • Respect the plants, animals and each other.
  • Watch for animals that bite or sting.
  • Observe nature gently.
  • Stay with the group.
  • Help others so everyone can enjoy camp.
  • Let’s do our part to keep camp clean.
  • HAVE FUN!

PARENTS:

  • Tobacco, alcohol and weapons on TUSD property are prohibited by law.

IF SPENDING THE NIGHT:

  • Drinking water is permitted in the cabins. 
  • Food items should only be consumed at the ramada and kitchen areas.
  • Adults must accompany students in the cabins.

OTHER AGREEMENTS:

  • During camp activities, cell phones should be put away.
  • Please leave chewing gum at home.
